These two vehicles are similar in a lot of aspects. Looking at them will also tell you that there are not so many differences between the two. These two are both good SUVs for their class. However, series of driving tests proved that the VW Touareg excels over the LR3. The road tests that have been done include acceleration, ride quality, steering, handling, breaking, quietness, controls, details, and driving comfort.
